About Us
Audrey White
I grew up in Baton Rouge and got my degrees at LSU in Education. After shaping the lives of countless first and fourth graders over a thirty year period I retired as a teacher from Ascension Parish (St. Amant Primary) to begin my second career, Real Estate, in 2000. What an exciting, challenging, and gratifying career, assisting both sellers and buyers by making their dreams a reality. Placing that ‘SOLD” sign on my seller’s house is the conclusion of effort in marketing the house, great cooperation, negotiating , good pricing and getting qualified buyers.
Looking across the closing table at the smile on my buyer’s faces is a reward for finding them just the right home or piece of property whether they’re first time home buyers or seasoned buyers moving up to the “next level”. Our empty nesters are a real joy also as they are many times looking for that new lifestyle or second home.
When I’m not in the field working I enjoy spending time with my children and their families. I have three grandchildren. My five year old grandson has decided to be a junior Realtor and show homes, with badge, cell phone, and tablet in hand when he’s with his Mimi. I also find time to travel, just love the mountains, albeit quick weekend getaways work well. Trying out a new recipe from my vast cookbook collection (some weeks there just aren’t enough hrs. left over to cook) or working with my flowers is a great reprieve too.
Ed White
Ed has had an extremely varied work history. He's been a carpenter, a journalist, an advisor to student publications at LSU, a marketing manager for several companies, a contractor, and now a Realtor for the last 10 years. He is the eldest son of a building contractor. At a very young age he learned carpentry from his father, a master carpenter. Before completing his undergraduate work at LSU, he joined the Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, Florida.
Returning to LSU, he received his degree in journalism and then worked for a time in several positions in industrial editing and public relations, was assistant director of the Greater Baton Rouge Safety Council before he accepted the advisor's position at LSU. He then lived several years in Houston where he was a project superintendent for a large commercial contractor and a marketing manager for a security company. Back in Louisiana, before becoming qualified as a Realtor, he returned to what he learned from his father--building and renovating homes. His specialty was updating and enhancing the interiors of the homes on which he worked. Today, Ed considers being a Realtor as the most satisfying work he's ever done. He would not want to be doing anything else at this point in his life. It's possible that the experiences he's had in his life now help him to help others.
